Apparently, these are more cool than I know... another person on my watch list has one. ^-^

Alright. I told everyone that I could about what was going to happen yesterday, and I went, and it was HELLA AWESOME.

But.

The day before, it rained really bad here, and ... I was at work. -.- My dad unplugged the family computer, but he left the DSL cable in it. The DSL box is OUTSIDE. When our phone line got struck by lightning, it arced to the DSL box, and traveled through the cord and into our computer.


I had the internet guy put a new box outside, and run new cable, but in the end, I still had to buy a new PCI card to plug the cord into.

and

Then I boot up, and start World of Warcraft... Aaaaaand there's no sound. x.x

I haven't figured out how *THAT* got busted yet, but ... I will. and .... If it means buying a new sound card, too, for this computer that's not even 20% mine....


I will be pissed.


BUT!~ THERE'S GOOD NEWS!~ I've made a new friend that I can trust with anything. ^-^
